Hochzeitstag wollten wir mit einer kleinen <strong>Wanderung<\/strong> samt anschlie\u00dfendem <strong>Essen<\/strong> feiern. Denn hat man in den <strong>Vogesen<\/strong> erstmal einen H\u00fcgel erklommen, passt nichts besser als ein z\u00fcnftiges Mahl. Wie ihr sp\u00e4testens jetzt wisst, bin ich keine \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfig ausdauernde Wandersfrau, sondern eher eine Flachlandtirolerin. Ich esse aber gern. Wie man ebenfalls sieht. Wenn ich eine Strecke heim- pardon &#8211; heraussuche, handelt es sich meist um eine von 2,5 bis 3 Stunden. Rundweg oder hin und zur\u00fcck (Auf dem R\u00fcckweg sieht alles eh nochmal anders aus). Pausen exklusive. Sp\u00e4testens nach 2,75 Stunden fange ich an zu n\u00f6rgeln, weil mir scheint, dass meine gro\u00dfen Zehen auf Untertassengr\u00f6\u00dfe angeschwollen, meine Wanderschuhe gleichzeitig um mindestens 20 % geschrumpft sind. Oder ich ganz einfach genug Gr\u00fcn gesehen habe. Waldbaden ist ja super, aber in der Badewanne absolviere ich ja auch kein Hochleistungsprogramm. Sondern entspanne beim munteren Plantschen in Fichtennadelgr\u00fcn. Wie auch hier liegt in der K\u00fcrze die W\u00fcrze. Fesche Wanderer, die durch mich erheitert, in jedem Falle aber ausgebremst werden, mutma\u00dfen f\u00fcr gew\u00f6hnlich zweierlei: &#8222;Die Arme ist sicher mit ihrem Fahrrad gest\u00fcrzt und zwar so, dass sie sich nur noch rutschend bewegen kann. Ihr Bike liegt derweil wohl am tiefsten Grund der Schlucht. In diesem Alter sollte man sich nicht \u00fcbersch\u00e4tzen&#8220; (Falsch!) oder \u201eWas f\u00fcr eine Zimperliese!&#8220;   (Richtig!) &#8222;Was macht die erst am Donon?!\u201c Mein Pech also, dass ich Burgen liebe. Denn die muss man sich meist erkraxeln. Ist zwar eine <strong>Burgruine<\/strong>, allerdings die gr\u00f6\u00dfte im Elsass. Wer h\u00e4tte das gedacht? 270 m lang, 70 m breit. Eine H\u00f6henburg aus der <strong>Stauferzeit<\/strong>, 11. bis 13. Jahrhundert. Ein riesiges Monument, in liebevoller, ehrenamtlicher Arbeit von Freiwilligen aus dem Dornr\u00f6schenschlaf erweckt. Schon der beeindruckende Plan an der Burgmauer weist auf die Gewaltigkeit des Projekts hin. Hungerturm, Zitadelle, Wohnbereich, Kapelle, Donnerbalken. Alles da. Ehrf\u00fcrchtig bestaunen wir die m\u00e4chtigen Quader, die schon verbaut wurden, sowie jene, die noch einzusetzen sind. Eine Herkulesarbeit. Und da l\u00e4uft auch schon eine flei\u00dfige Helferin mit grasgr\u00fcnem Helm und Schubkarre hurtig den Berg hinan. Ich denke Muskeln, Ausdauer und ja, die feste Gewissheit, hier etwas Sinnvolles f\u00fcr die Allgemeinheit zu tun, zu bewahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/slidebearing.eu\/julclub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Burg_Vogesen_Guirbaden-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4714\" srcset=\"https:\/\/slidebearing.eu\/julclub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Burg_Vogesen_Guirbaden.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/slidebearing.eu\/julclub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Burg_Vogesen_Guirbaden-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Wanderer r\u00e4keln sich tr\u00e4ge im Sonnenschein. Umsummt von Bienen, Hummeln, umflattert von Schmetterlingen auf bunten Kr\u00e4uterwiesen. Es duftet w\u00fcrzig. Die Aussicht: Grandios. Von einer H\u00f6he von 565 Metern bestaunen wir die blauen <strong>Vogesen<\/strong> um den kleinen Ort <strong>Grendelbruch<\/strong>. Schauen schaudernd die steilen H\u00e4nge hinab. So, wie die Burg bereits seit \u00fcber tausend Jahren auf das <strong>Vall\u00e9e de la Bruche <\/strong>blickt. Auf Fototafeln wird das Vorher-Nachher des Projekts anschaulich erkl\u00e4rt. Ab und an lebt das Mittelalter in einem Burgfest farbenpr\u00e4chtig \u2013 vor allem auch unblutiger \u2013 auf. Dann werfen sich die Einheimischen in Schale, Ritterr\u00fcstung genannt, binden sich Sch\u00fcrzen um, setzen sich Kopftuch oder Helm auf, greifen zu Heugabeln und Schwertern um das umtriebige Treiben nachzustellen, das hier wohl einst herrschte. Nat\u00fcrlich weilte auch Friedrich Barbarossa hier. Das hat man also davon, wenn man unbedingt Junggesellin bleiben will. Niemand sollte erfahren, wo Grab und Schatz zu finden waren. Nun, jemand hat geplaudert. U.a. im <strong>Grenouille <\/strong>und <strong>Pot au feu<\/strong> soll man sehr gut essen k\u00f6nnen. Lasst euch am besten vor Ort inspirieren, denn im Umkreis gibt es viele interessante Restaurants. Ausprobiert haben wir das <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"La Schlitte (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/restaurant-schlitte.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">La Schlitte<\/a><\/strong> in <strong>La Broque<\/strong>,ein apartes Blockhaus am Rande des kleinen Ortes. Hier gelingt das Kunstst\u00fcck traditionell franz\u00f6sisch-els\u00e4ssische K\u00fcche mit Experimentierfreude zu paaren. Der norwegische Lachs war ein Gedicht. Das <em>animal glac\u00e9<\/em> f\u00fcr die kleinen <em>Lutins<\/em> sollte man allerdings nicht w\u00f6rtlich nehmen. \u00dcbrigens war der Service ausgezeichnet. Etwas hochpreisiger geht es in der <strong>Auberge Metzger<\/strong> in <strong>Natzviller<\/strong> zu, wo ihr auch \u00fcbernachten k\u00f6nnt. Ihr aber fahrt rechts in das <strong>Quartier du Guirbaden<\/strong>. Rechts an einem Mast seht ihr schon das\nWanderweg-Symbol: Ein <strong>liegendes\nRechteck, rot-wei\u00df-rot<\/strong>. Dann macht der Weg eine Linkskurve. Dieser folgt ihr NICHT. Stattdessen geht ihr immer geradeaus. Haltet euch also rechts. Und da ist auch direkt wieder das Symbol. Der Weg wird jetzt schmaler, uriger, schl\u00e4ngelt sich aufw\u00e4rts zur Burg. Nach deren Besichtigung geht ihr denselben Weg wieder zur\u00fcck bis zum Ausgangspunkt. Wetten, dass ihr jetzt Hunger habt! Oder geh\u00f6rt ihr etwa zu jenen Unverdrossenen, die auf dem ebenfalls hier verlaufenden <strong>Chemin des Ch\u00e2teaux-Forts d\u00b4Alsace<\/strong> von Burg zu Burg wandern m\u00f6chten?
